Landscapes

For the most part, I like my ducks in a row before I start a painting. The mist paintings in this gallery break all the rules for me. I don’t start with a drawing or a specific place in mind. Sometimes the color scheme changes completely before I am finished. There have been some disasters – or should I say “learning experiences” along the way but they give me a chance to experiment and not be so focused on a specific outcome.
