Field Trip to the Alpaca Farm
This project has been a long time coming …
9 x 11 inch – 32 page Hardcover children’s book.
This was the most involved book I have done so far and had the most repeat characters. I definitely got attached to the characters while I was drawing them and they took on a personality of their own. Funny how that happens. I look forward to sharing my creation with you.
The book will be released the first week of October and I am working on setting up WooCommerce so you will be able to purchase it here.
If you are local, I will be signing books in Norway … at Jake Menghini Museum’s Annual Art Show on Friday evening October 5th (4pm-6:30) and Rainbows End Alpaca’s and Gifts on Saturday October 6th (10am-3pm).
I squeezed in a little painting time over the summer in between art fairs and finishing the alpaca book. I always hate saying goodbye to summer and all that sunshine. September with its shorter days and cooler temps has arrived and with it comes fall craft shows. I do enjoy the fall and the routine it brings. This fall I am switching gears and will be working on a sales page to feature books, paintings, and cards.
